The Background

They came together at Christmas in London to celebrate a massive fundraise of €21m after having bootstrapped the business for 5 years. The idea was to let their hair down and enjoy each other’s company.

The team was snowed under, pushing through the last stages of the deal and their celebration event was slipping away from them. That’s where Closeknit came in, taking the whole thing off their hands. With less than a month to find the venue and all the activities, it was down to the line but we managed to give them a great time in London.

The team is spread across the UK and the US and many had never met before the retreat. They were eager to get to know each other in a relaxed sense, especially after a very intense Q3&4. the agenda was strictly all play and no work!
